I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Transporter 2: Russian girl makes Statham strip before she'll give him the keys to the car. Then she demands a kiss. Then a better one.

That was 3. I know this because I saw it on cable yesterday.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yeah, and I saw 2 and I didn't see that scene at all.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So I've totally forgotten Transporter 2????

I'm not surprised.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Transporter 2 is the one where he's trying to save the little kid. it's actually my favorite.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That is unparalleled filmmaking, and Statham is a master thespian.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I finally scored a copy of Funeral Parade of Roses a loose adaptation of Oedipus Rex among the late sixties Japanese gay underground (mostly transgender). It's gorgeous, playful, influenced by pop art and Godard. It's a huge acknowledged influence by Kubrick on Clockwork Orange. A genuine masterpiece that's largely gone unseen and unknown. There's an excellent review here, with many shots from the film.

More fantastic images from it here.
