I'm assuming The Eagle sucks, and that's why there's so little advance press for it.

I suspect so. Pity, since the source novel (Eagle of the Ninth) is one of my favorites from childhood. It's the sort of thing that deserves a short miniseries, really.

I really liked the use of CGI in that movie, so it was neat to see how it was done.

The last performance scene especially. So fantastic.

I saw The King's Speech, which I totally loved. I was afraid the stuttering would bother me, as I used to have a fairly bad stutter and to this day hearing someone else stutter makes me very uncomfortable. But it turned out OK.

it was weird, but my dad used to threaten to make me talk with a mouthful of marbles when I stuttered. I had never heard of that anyplace else until I saw TKS. Also, my dad would get angry at me when I stuttered, which I can say is very counterproductive.

All in all, I found TKS to be very funny and inspiring.

Yeah, in TKS they mention that being used in ancient Greece.
