I cannot believe the IMDB summary for Once Were Warriors says that the father obviously loves his family. But perhaps I'm short-tempered and judgmental. However, it doesn't seem like he loves anyone but himself.
Oh, yes, I judge.
Also, that Ashton Kutcher/Natalie Portman movie is at least as dumb as you thought it was. But it makes me want a proper, funny, R-rated romcom.
Maybe the Mila Kunis/Justin Timberlake one will be better?

The Slate movie critic thinks the movie with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long from last year was much better than this current one.
I haven't seen either so I cannot comment.
I watched The A Team yesterday, twice & again today. Exhilarating! Now I want to know more about Sharlto Copley.
Also, that Ashton Kutcher/Natalie Portman movie is at least as dumb as you thought it was.
Well, that's too bad, but not too surprising.
Drew Barrymore makes me twitchy.
I like Natalie Portman, but she didn't do a good job with any of the comedy in the script. Luminously beautiful, though.

I just saw True Grit and Hailee Steinfeld really must play Katniss in the Hunger Games movies.
Ooh, Once Were Warriors is a tough tough watch. I dunno if I could see it again. Resonates, though.
Ugh. I cried. My sister says the sequel is a bit happier. Maybe I'll try that.
Meanwhile, I'm finally watching District 9. I question my choices for mood enhancement.
