"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I was just having a conversation last weekend or so about the next Batman villain, and the guy I was talking to said something about the Riddler, and I said I'd rather, with Nolan's tone in the movies, it be Bane, so Hardy's the cherry on top for me.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I just keep thinking of this 400 Blows.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I liked that more than the actual movie.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I just keep thinking of this 400 Blows.

That was awesome.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm not sure if I should be a bit hurt or not.

I think Tep was just responding to my presumptive tone, which was just poor phrasing on my part.

Wow. Daisy, all I meant was that I didn't get from your post what Hec did. Sorry.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Anne Hathaway totally has layers.

No, it's cool, I can see that. I took it as amazing wasn't an opinion worth engaging, but I could be a bit sensitive lately.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I will add that Anne Hathaway is so good at playing a smart, self-destructive, brittle, charming, rege-filled addict that she literally WAS my late niece. Oddly enough, seeing her performance actually helped my brother with his grief--he said it made him see that Amy wasn't the only girl like this in the world, and that was an unexpected comfort.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

man, that's heavy, Scrappy.

Given Hathaway's real life romantic "troubles", I think she can pull from some depths to play whatever the hell she needs to. Her ex-fiance sounds like a piece of work who really screwed her (and others) over badly.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

My friend and I watched "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" tonight and I really enjoyed it. I had read the graphic novels, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it transferred to screen. I realize everyone else saw this movie ages ago, but I'm typically very late to these things. Good fun!!
