Now tagless for your comfort.

We watched Easy A two nights ago and I declare it adorable.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Red Letter Media, the guy behind the eviscerating video takedowns of the Star Wars prequels has posted the 3rd one. It is in 3 parts and is about 90 minutes I think.

It is funny in parts, but overall, he sounds broken hearted:

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just discovered that Netflix has The Apple on insta-watch. I'm not sure I needed to know that.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I just got back from seeing The King's Speech.

OMG so good. It's just a good, cozy movie with brilliant performances and set design you can wallow in.

Firth and Rush are fabulous and play off each other beautifully, which is no surprise, but I actually liked HBC as Elizabeth, which was a surprise.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I liked Black Swan. It seemed to be a pretty straightforward character-fights-with-her-dark-side movie, but it was done well. I really loved the scene at the end where Nina grew her wings with every twirl. And then her shadows had wings. It was lovely while still being creepy. I don't understand how no one fucking noticed the bloody wound in her chest for most of the show, though.

I also really dug the subtle visual effects, like when Nina peeks into her mom's room and the eyes on one of paintings moves or when Lily's tattoo starts to move and grow during the dreamsex. And I was also very impressed with the switches between Lily and Dark Nina. Sometimes when they switched back, I wasn't sure for a second who I was seeing because they made them look so similar, even though Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman don't look anything alike!
