But her death gave Bourne MOAR EMOTIONAL PAIN.
I'm a little irrational about Bourne. Karl Urban is still hot, though.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Did you like Run, Lola, Run?
Nah. Irritating.
(I never liked Bourne's girlfriend)
I liked her OK, but by far my favourite character in the series was Joan Allen's character, Pam Landry. She was awesomeness personified, especially in the last film.
Hobbit movie:
Blanchett is cast as Galadriel. How will this work if the character isn't in the book?
The movies will be have a much larger scope than just the Hobbit book. They are at least also including the White Council.
They are raiding the appendices again.
I watched Burn After Reading last night. Man, more like Burn After Boring. I couldn't stay completely awake for the whole movie and I didn't care because the characters were all terrible people and nothing was actually that funny. Except Brad Pitt. He was the best part.
A question I'd been wondering...
So how did a Nick Cave song end up in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 1'? [link]
Oh, cool. Thanks for the link. I know there have been mixed reactions to that scene, but it was one of my favourite scenes in the movie, and the song choice had a lot to do with that. ("O Children" is probably my favourite song off Abbatoir Blues.)
Interesting article about how Black Swan and Blue Valentine have very similar sex scenes, but one got an NC-17 rating. [link]
