promoting him by showing hordes of crying girl fans makes me hate him.

The Boy and I both initially thought it was a movie about Justin Timberlake. And then I realized that that just points out how old we are, because Justin Timberlake's moment has LONG since passed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude, he's hot shit right now. One of People's sexiest for 2010, just finished Social Network, and has four more movies in the can or being worked on.

Fair point. I was thinking more of his time as pop-singer-(pre)teen-idol-with-highly-synthesized-music-and-screaming-girls-in-the-front-row.

Because books.

That Justin and grownup Justin are almost two different people. I never liked (or even noticed, really) popstar Justin, but I really like the grownup version.

I'm sure doing Yogi Bear will get the kids right back on his jock.

We saw a preview for Yogi Bear, and until the end of the preview, I would have sworn it was Christopher Lloyd doing Yogi's voice. (It's Dan Ackroyd.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

He's bringing pic-a-nics back?

Thanks to The View this morning, I learned that Beiber had both Timberlake and Usher mentoring him at first, and Beiber went all Usher.

We didn't get the Beiber trailer but got the Green Hornet and the Green Lantern. I have no real prior knowledge of either of the Green movies, so both looked interesting. We didn't get Yogi Bear either and I know I won't see that one on purpose.

I know we got other trailers before HP7A, but nothing is jumping to mind.

The Cowboys and Aliens trailer got the most buzz at my theatre.

move out and draw fire

Mal laughed like a drain during the Yogi Bear preview. In the silence afterwards, he turned to me and I said "NO. No no no." to the delight of the parents behind us.

I think he liked that preview better than Megamind, but I figure I was the target audience for MM. Mal knows Mario, but not Donkey Kong, ya know?
