"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

If it's not, it should be. Invisible class system anxiety, let me show you it.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

NYT has a little "Anatomy of a Scene" video from the new HP movie. [link]

Spoilers, of course. Gotta say, I quite like the way Yates explains the scene. Has he done any director's commentaries on his previous HP films?

Compassionately intolerant

Thanks for that, Vonnie. I really enjoyed Yates' commentary and will enjoy that scene all the more when I finally see the film.

There's been no commentaries on the films' dvds, unfortunately.

I was afraid I'd fall asleep tonight so we're going to the second matinee tomorrow. Plus: matinee prices.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Felton sounds like he's practiced. I love how (excepting Rupert) they all look nothing like their characters. Is the last movie in the can?

D-Rad looks like late vintage Harry to me. The other two, very distinct.

Yeah, they're done filming (at least principal, if not everything). There have been leaks of the epilogue.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Is the last movie in the can?

Yep.
