Movies I hated:
Short Cuts...Altman = genius, I'm down with that, but yesh, that movie inspired such an ire...which I suppose means it worked.
Crash...as stated above...After Hours (at the time I described it like slowly ripping adhesive tape off a open wound)...Interview with a Vampire (way to destroy all my teenage fantasies retroactively)...Fill in any of the Star Wars Reduxes (same reason)...anything by Solandz, Ferrara (except Crime Story) or LeBute.
Hours I wish I had back.
I love After Hours!
The two movies I walked out on were Clan of the Cave Bear, and Ocean's Twelve.
Hated Grand Canyon with a passion.
skeeved me like that children's book I'll Always Love You with the adult infantilism.
HATE THAT BOOK!!! Joe's mom gave it to him when I was pregnant with Emeline. Blech. CREEP- to the mutherfucking EEE.
Re: Star Trek.
I am reserved. I am bouyed that so many here liked it a lot, but as I told Joe this morning, I am afeared that it will be High School Musical with prosthetic ears.
I'm also annoyed because I have Star Trekkin' stuck in my damn head.
There were funny bits in Starship Troopers? Other than standard "we're having witty banter now" moments?
It's not as funny as Robocop, but there are the TV spots, and Michael Ironside, and, as mentioned, Nazi Doogie...

Lots of people do. But I've never understood why.
Dumb people unable to climb out of their own self destructive tracks just make me tired. We criticize Mohinder Suresh for being a box of hair on Heroes but Griffin Dunne's character gets a pass.
Maybe it was the time in my life. I was training to walk across America and, as soon as things started going wrong for Paul Hackett, all I could think was 'walk the fuck home, you idiot.'

And yet I was transfixed. I kept fast forwarding because it was so aweful, but then I'd rewind to see why people were doing the nutty things they were doing.
Oh, and Be Cool rates high on the blech scale for me. How Dwayne Johnson could do that to himself...and well, just the whole thing.
Aw man, Grand Canyon would have been a great one for the list, too. Although I've heard from reliable sources that Crash makes it seem like a walk in the park.
