Harry Potter hangs up wand in 2011
Warner Bros has announced that its Harry Potter franchise will wind up with a 15 July 2011 release for Deathly Hallows: Part II, the BBC reports.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due to hit the big screen in July this year - an eight-month knock-back designed to "guarantee the studio a major summer blockbuster in 2009", according to Warner prez Alan Horn. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is slated for a 19 November 2010 premiere.
yep Coraline was awesome. D said it was boring up until the point he fell asleep. The glasses did hurt my head and I have a very small head (6 7/8!) I wish we'd sat further back in the theatre.
It's political day on TCM! 1776 is currently on (yay! "But, Mr. Adams" is just beginning!), followed by Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, All the King's Men, and The Manchurian Candidate.

Do you mean to say that it is not yet finished?
No, I mean to say that it is not yet begun.
Good God--a whole week! The entire earth was created in a week!
Someday, you must tell me how you did it.
Disgusting. Look at him, Franklin, Virginia's most famous lover.
Virginia abstains.
Wake up, Franklin! You're going to New Brunswick.
Like hell I am. What for?
The whoring and the drinking!
Franklin leaps to his feet.
Ohhh, this is the director's cut, too! "Cool, Considerate Men" just started.

"Oh, how I wish I had never seen the Continental Army! I would have done better to retire to the back country and to live in a wigwam. Your obedient...[drum roll] G. Washington."
In such COMPLETELY other news, Dario Argento fans should know that his third film (and his most interesting pre-DEEP RED movie) is out in a glorious transfer: FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET. This was considered a "lost movie" because while Paramount held the rights, they wouldn't give them up for anyone (at least at a reasonable price). The only available versions have been incredibly wretched bootleg copies - literally unwatchable (I know because I bought one) in a literal sense (some scenes you couldn't make out what was supposed to be happening).
Hey Frank, do you recommend Mother of Tears?
