I'm up for a remake of My Fair Lady if Eliza walks away at the end.
Without Freddy.
'Same Time, Same Place'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Instead of remaking Battle Royale why don't they buy the right to The Hunger Games?
Are they mutually exclusive? A Hunger Games script has already been written.
They seem kind of redundant.
But if people never made the same movie at the same time we wouldn't have Transmorphers.
I also refuse to believe that the remake of The Crow is really happening. I am comfortable in my denial, thanks.
I worry that Russell Brand is going to star in this one, too.
I like the idea of Russel Brand as Arthur but Rik Mayall will always be Drop Dead Fred.
Like 90% of the time when this stuff is announced it never gets made.
Just got back from seeing Let Me In.
I actually liked it better than the original version, mostly because the pacing in the remake was a bit tighter.

I'm hoping the rumored Suspiria remake is dead because it wasn't in that list, as opposed to by omission.
But I'm kind of looking forward to the remake of Fright Night.
B-b-b-b-but...but...but...there's no Roddy McDowall anymore?!?!?!?!?!?
