Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Raq, have you seen The Prestige?

That's what Primer reminds me of...kinda.

Huh, I didn't think of that, but you're right. Both movies have endings that make you realize that you actually didn't even know what was going on in the movie you just watched.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Chris Evans was hilarious in Scott Pilgrim, but Brandon Routh was even funnier. I guess i don't get the Michael Cera issues. But the only other thing I've seen him in was Arrested Development, so that might have something to do with it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Brandon Routh was even funnier.

Brandon Routh was so damn funny. The whole explanation of "Tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday" was beautiful.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C, I didn't mean it like that. Rather, a central plot point has the clone of the original, killing the original and creating more clone(s) for the character's main purpose.

I hope I'm not mixing up my movies.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I... called the ending to The Prestige about five minutes in. It was a pretty disappointing movie because of that.

move out and draw fire

Raq, have you seen The Prestige?

I have, but I read it first, and the reading stuck with me more. So I called that part right away. Seriously, when Aaron tells Kara it's baby birds in the attic, I told the DH "Right. It's his prestiges."

But I still couldn't quite track which one was doing what when, until I diagrammed it out later. And I have to admit I never bought Aaron's motivation to be a hero and arrange the party so he could be.

Still, really a quite good movie.
