I was singing the same tune! I love that song.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Finally got around to seeing Scott Pilgrim - TONS of fun, though since I haven't read the books I'm appreciating it more on a "OMGSPACEDWITHABUDGET" level than anything else. I just love the way Edgar Wright sees the world.
Holy crap, Al Swearingen was in Battle of Britian !!!
I finally saw Scott Pilgrim yesterday, and IT ROCKED!!! They did a really good job of compression. I have a few quibbles, but I also think they did better than the books in a couple of places. Mostly, I sat there with a big stupid grin on my face (when I wasn't laughing like a drain), much as I did with Hot Fuzz and Spaced (much as I liked it, Shaun of the Dead didn't hit me in the funny bone quite the same way).
Also? Kieran Culkin totally stole the movie (and Ellen Wong came close to stealing it back).
Sylvester McCoy in talks for the Hobbit. Speculation is that it's for Radagast the Brown.

Me too! I saw it while the rest of the family went to see The Last Exorcism. Consensus was that they should have seen Scott Pilgrim with me. It was way fun!
Umm does Radagast the Brown belong in the Hobbit?
In the ancillary stuff.
If he's saying it's a bigger role, how does Radagast qualify?
