I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. I've only seen three of those movies. I evidently don't get out enough.

Because books.

I'd actually like to see Barbarella just for fun.

Attack of the Puppet People and Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity are my favorite titles.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I've only seen Barbarella and Plan 9, but I'm completely in love with the publicity still for Attack of the Puppet People. It's adorable. I'm sure I'd hate the actual movie, but I still want to live in the world of just that one photo.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

JZ, you haven't seen Tremors?? It's so great!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

My favorite title ever (and I've never seen the movie) is

"The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies" (I've actually seen many variations on t he title such as "Strange creatures who stopped living and became weird mixed-up Zombies") Another title that may deserve a mention is "Nudist Colony of the Dead".

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Tremors is fabulous. Reba!

Barbarella was less boggling the first time I saw it at the drive-in than it's been since. That may say something about my states of mind then and now. Barbarella and The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming are responsible for my being a fan of John Phillip Law.

...those may be his entire oevre, actually.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

...those may be his entire oevre, actually.

Danger: Diabolik! One of the best spy villain lairs ever.

Does he have dialog? Because on my mental movie screen, Pygar tilts his head, birdlike, and says in a "Russian" accent, "You kiss-ed me."
