Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Oh! Thank you very much. Don't know what the user error was in my search, but it was probably a user error. Thanks, I would be off to read right now but I just realized it's now after 2 AM. Yikes!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

yeah, but Eric Bana beats Peter Sellers

So Peter Cushing must be up there too (especially when you throw in all the Hammer/horror movies).

So I just watched Point Break ! What the hell, all this time I thought it was sort of a cheesy so-bad-it's-good movie, but...it was actually pretty good! And Patrick Swayze was great!

So worth seeing even for just the foot-chase scene. I mean, he lobs a not-small DOG at Keanu!

What did you think of Strange Days?

Not P-C, but while I found the happy ending really forced in there, and the one big flaw in the movie, by that time I was so invested in Mace that I was happy for her and seriously relieved she made it through the movie alive.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Java cat,

I actually thought you were being sarcastic when you posted that. There has been SO much "Inception" talk.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, searching on the word gives 109 hits. The other simple thing to do is flip back in time to the opening date.

I loved Strange Days. I don't understand people seriously saying Point Break was good. It was many things, one of which can include enjoyable, but good?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I didn't say it was good, I said it was awesome, but that's only because my love for Keanu knows no bounds. I can't speak for P-C.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That was so great. Also that time Keanu got punched out by a naked woman.

I have looser standards than some people. I also refer to The Fast and the Furious as "good," for instance.

I think Point Break is pretty good until about halfway through the movie. When it gets to the point that Hot Fuzz satirizes, the movie is no longer good, IMO. It is a very entertaining movie, but the logic and believability burns.

That's the point where I started liking it MORE.

Point (BREAK!) taken. Megan's right, though - it is awesome, but my Bigelow love knows almost no bounds (couldn't be bothered to see K-19). I even love Blue Steel, despite Captain Logic never having seen the boat. That's partly my Jamie Lee Curtis love talking too, though.

P-C, you crack me UP.
