"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Kinda geeked by that casting news, although I liked Freeman in the part, it's Idris Elba. Alex Cross might get laid this time. Which can't be all bad, although that isn't one of the series that I have all these opinions about anyway. Stringer Bell is really awesome, Hec, but I don't know if I'm a big enough Wirefiend to fight ita. That's, like, taking "giving a fuck when it ain't my turn," up to 11, right? "If you come for the King, you best not miss."(How much more would I love Obama if he busted out an Omar quote in a briefing? And I really like Obama, but if he did that, the cult thing would be true.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I just want Obama, one of these times, to come out whistling "The Farmer in the Dell."

Then I will know it is on like Kong and I need to pack up the food and my electronics and hightail it to Canada.

Bwah, le nubian. Mos def. The press room would be odd that day.About a third would get it and tighten their sphincters. Fox News would be all "I knew it! They do sing all the time." And somewhere in Baltimore, Simon would be weighing "End of the country" versus "Shoutout!"

Because books.

Fall film preview from iO9.

A lot of good stuff in there. I had no idea Red Dawn might not come out, though, due to MGM's bankruptcy. I want my Jeffrey Dean Morgan, damn it!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There is pretty much nothing on that list (all supposably genre) that potentially excites me beyond Red. I'm interested in Red Dawn and will see the Harry Potter movie, but not excited.

Because books.

Not Never Let Me Go or Monsters? I also want to see the new version of Let The Right One In.

Maybe I need to watch more trailers. But none of the synopses grab me (I'm not going to get suckered in by the emotion behind the synopses because, hello, they loved Scott Pilgrim).

I didn't like the original Let The Right One In. I'm curious to see if the remake fixes stuff (like, say, makes her a convincing vampire and stuff), but I don't feel like going to the theatre to find out.
