S. read another theory the other day about Cobb's wedding ring, that it was on in dreams and not in reality.
I have no clue -- I remember seeing it very specifically at certain points, but I wasn't thinking about it that way at the time.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

HInt: he's bringing BooBooBack
This is making me laugh and laugh and laugh!
I am assuming it is Justin Timberlake.
Amy, I've seen that too, but I need to pay attention next time, since that supports my reading. Which is the simple one that takes things at face value. There, there, brain, don't tax yourself too much. Whew.
The movie incepts everybody who watches it.
I know! It's awesome.
I have a feeling that all the main theories will hold up, because there will be things that hint that any given theory is true, and nothing that flatly contradicts any one theory.
Well, it's hard to flatly contradict a theory that supposes the entire movie is a dream because then it doesn't really have to adhere to any rules. I do like the idea that the movie is Mal's dream, not Cobb's. Oooh. Frickin' Mal! I love that there are so many different interpretations, and they're all cool, and they could all hold up.
Man, the BooBooBack has morphed itself into my brain as a new song parody.
I want to watch this with commentary.
From Nolan? Or just in general? I'd love to hear Nolan's thoughts but he seems reluctant to do commentaries.
In general. It's a movie that generates good discussions, so I think almost anyone involved in its production would have some interesting things to say.
yes, I heard he doesn't do commentaries, but I had heard he didn't like them at all.
do his previous movies have any commentaries?
Aww Pretty Maids... is not available on Netflix.
re: Heath Ledger. I can watch Knight's Tale and I would like to see Dark Knight again but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to rewatch Brokeback and I felt close to tears a couple times during Doctor Parnassus but damn is that a great movie! Did we already talk about what a fantastic film Doctor Parnassus is? I thought I remembered the critics being disappointed. I have always been a fan of Gilliam. I even enjoyed Jabberwocky.

Really? Chris Gore mentioned commentary on Following, and I thought Memento had commentary. Did he stop doing them?
I liked Parnassus a lot...mostly because I have an unhealthy love for Gilliam, but I recall the public discourse being pretty negative.
