And here's a graph showing the rise and fall of poverty from 1959 to 2005. Looking at it, it appears to me that it seems to rise in conservative years and drop in liberal ones.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

David - if you're around - had a funny moment with my dad this weekend.
My dad and I have very similar tastes in music and we frequently trade new artists back and forth. He gave me John Prine, I gave him Brandi Carlisle, etc. This weekend I spent the night at my parents house and dad had a new artist for me. He plays me a handful of snippets of stuff I hadn'theard before. Low, gravelly male voice. Oddly melodic. I asked him who it was. It was Tom Waits. I laffed and laffed. And then thought of you.

LOVE her!
I went to Trader Joe's and got a couple boxes of soup, a can of tomato bisque, some chocolate pudding, and some bananas. I'll get some more stuff from Safeway later.
I can't get full on just soup, though.
