So non-steel wheels don't have hubcaps? Or have hubcaps that can't be stolen?
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I have had a productive evening...
- Found 2 pairs of jeans at TJ Max for CJ (every pair he has have ventilated knees)
- Discovered that he has a Valentines party at school tomorrow, so bought supplies for him (Valentines, small candy to tape on Valentines, and Sprinkles for their cupcake party).
- Did NOT help him put his Valentines together, but kept him on task while we watched SPN.
- Did a first cut at taxes, including two state returns. Need to pull some more information, but I'm close.
So non-steel wheels don't have hubcaps? Or have hubcaps that can't be stolen?
Non-steel wheels are the alloy ones, which don't have hubcaps (you see the solid, shiny metal).
I'm not sure why my driver's ed teacher passed me. I was a horrible driver, and he had fear in his eyes after the first ride.
If you'd failed, would he have had to teach you again?
I've switched from ice cream and reality TV to yogurt and African American Lives 2. Worse food, better TV.
If you'd failed, would he have had to teach you again?
Heh. Probably so. There was another teacher, but maybe he wasn't sure he would have been able to fob me off on him.
I remember behind the wheel training.
The instructor strapped on an AM transmitter, had all of us get in cars, and directed us like chess pieces by barking orders and advice as we careened around a large school parking lot laid out with every type of driving scenario.
The line that keeps sticking in my mind is one he said often, "Jensen! Slow down!"
Am I the only one who thinks P-C's uncle sounds like an asshole? I don't mean to offend, but why the knowledge about "whores"? If you've got that much knowledge, and it's firsthand, that makes you a user of whores, which would be a "john" and as equally culpable in whatever evils that transaction incurs.
(And if you *don't* have firsthand knowledge, then why are you even bringing them up in conversation?)
Sometimes buying a car is just buying a damned car.
We always tip our housecleaners because they come through a company. I didn't when I had someone who worked for herself.
So I truly had a fantastic day. Spoiled rotten by students and colleagues all day, flowers delivered to school from my beloved ND, and dinner and Coraline tonight. Just a lovely day.
Kristin, that's wonderful.
