billytea, such a wonderful birth announcement, though I would have preferred to hear of a much shorter/easier labor. Now she'll have something to hold over dear Ryan's head forever, "I Did NOT go through 49 hours of labor to have you talk to me like that!" :) Much love to you all! So exciting!

Could I request a little ~ma? My brother is going into surgery about right now. It's a pretty routine surgery (repairing his torn ACL), but they don't know how bad the damage is, so they don't know how long the surgery will last. Our family doesn't deal well with anesthesia, so a little ~ma wouldn't go amiss.

Well, there was more damage than was listed on the appraisal, so the body shop had to request a supplement from the insurance company, and they're waiting to see what insurance will pay for. Then, apparently, they're behind in the shop, so even if that comes in today, they won't get to working on putting the car back together until next week.
