I'm in the camp that Guac is nasty stuff.
see, this just means you've never had the right guacamole.
I was also thinking of hitting the Texan Store, maybe going a little Western Suit kind of thing.
ooh I think that could look really cute on you! Don't forget the Stetson.
Two different people today commented that my hair seemed curlier than usual (of course it is -- it's raining, and my hair got wet and then frizzed up), and one of them then reached out to touch a curl, without asking. This is someone I know, but not someone I'm friendly enough with to casually touch like that. Is this just weird, or rude?
I consider hair-touching something one does with implicit or explicit permission. Which means, most times, I ask.
Is this just weird, or rude?
Thing One: it's rude. Very rude.
Thing Two: Welcome to the club of random people touching you. It happens to me all the time. Dear Little Old Ladies, yes I know I look like a doll. That does not mean you have permission to reach out and play with my fluffy skirts.
It was rude. I wasn't sure about how I would feel, but after thinking about it -- and there aren't a lot of people that casualy touch my hair.

Ditto this. Lewis never ate avocados and hated guacamole until I made him mine. It's the only one he'll eat, but still...
Is this just weird, or rude?
Definitely rude.
Thanks. I've been, for some reason, weirdly hair-obsessed latley, and wasn't sure if I was overreacting.
(I have no idea where my recent hair obsession has come from. I've just been really self-conscious about it the past few weeks, and have no idea why.)
BabyTea! BabyTea! BabyTea!
What's the difference between gauchos and culottes? I've never been quite sure.
Culottes are what girls who aren't allowed to wear pants wear. They are flowy and come below the knee. Gauchos are much more stylish. Kind of. If you're into that type of thing ;). I have a hate-on for both thanks to having to wear them as a kid.
Culottes are what girls who aren't allowed to wear pants wear.
What makes culottes allowed if pants aren't?
I think I figured out where my recent hair weirdness has been coming from -- it's because, at physical therapy, the physical therapist has been working with my neck, which means sometimes putting her hands into my hair, which has gotten me self-conscious about it not feeling all smooth and silky like hair is supposed to be.
OK, this is a ridiculous thing to be self-conscious about, now that I see it typed out like that. I need to either get over it or start straightening my hair, because worrying about this is just stupid.
What makes culottes allowed if pants aren't?
Culottes are not as form-fitting as pants are. The logic isn't all there, but that's their logic. It's much more like a skirt. Can't show too much shape along the ass and legs. It makes men want you. And that's bad.
