I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

UGH! From one of those appropriate interview attire comments:

Our office is full time business casual, but colors are required, meaning that while a golf shirt is more casual, it is also more appropriate.

I hate that kind of "logic." It's so random. Like deciding that anything made of denim is too "casual" when a nice pair of jeans looks way better than, say, a pair of ill-fitting, sloppy or whatever khaki pants.

This suit says sharp to me:

Maybe it's the slender cut? Actually almost anything that model is wearing on the BR site says sharp to me so maybe it's him!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Omnis, I don't know from Texas but a boy and I got really good service at a Men's Warehouse in Illinois, ages ago. Maybe consider throwing yourself on the mercy of a (discount) professional.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My feeling on cocktail chic is NYC -- Dark Clothes -- maybe a bright tie -- black pant and a bright shirt would work

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

WooHoo! Welcome to the world babytea! Hope Wallybee is doing well, too, and that billytea's shock and awe at witnessing a mammalian birth is ebbing. To be replaced with shock and awe at the presence of the young mammalian in question. Which is exceptionally cool and wonderful.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Babytea! Babytea! Babytea! Babytea! Babytea!

See, to my eye, the khakis with the sport coat is less formal than the monochromatic dark slacks, shirt, and tie. The khakis to me signal daytime wear.

Ugh. The khakis with sport coat signal one thing to me: frat boy. Ack. Ptui.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

In 2 weeks is the Gala for work. I gotta work it. The attire is described as "Cocktail Chic". I have a tux. Devo dept said a tux is too formal. What the heck is cocktail chic???

They obviously misspelled "Cocktail Chick". Look, all you gotta do is show up with a chick on your arm, and make sure she'll have a cocktail in her hand THE WHOLE TIME.

So. That was a very b.orgy (thee-hee. Am 12.) day, only offline. I'll explain.
Today was Independence Day, which means vacation and visiting friends in Tel Aviv area. It started with a brunch at Max Brenner (mmmm....), and then, some of the day was spent with me visiting our lovely Nilly. Poor woman is a little bit sick now, but she's still a Nilly. I had wonderful time, and I finally got my Vampire People copy back. I bought it in SF, and a month after I got back I gave it to a friend to read. That was in October 2007. I only got it back now. Anyway, Nilly showed me the pictures from her travel to the U.S., and I tried to guess who's who. I kindda suck badly at this, but I think I got two or three right. You people just don't look like I picture you in my mind, you know?
(By the way, that's the second time I'm seeing these pictures, and I got the feeling that it won't be the last. The first time, IIRC, was two-three weeks after I joined b.org.)

Later, on the way home on one of the many buses I took today, I heard some guy telling his friend that he's gotta watch Dr. Horrible, while I was rereading Allyson's book.

Good day.

Oh, and with all of those fashion questions, I've got one of my own. I'm gonna need to take a picture for it. Stay tuned.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The khakis with sport coat signal one thing to me: frat boy.

Yes, yes, and yes to your Ugh, Ack, and Ptui.
