'Sleeper'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, dark slacks, dress shirt and spiffy tie ought to do it. If you want to make it really dressy, do something monochromatic with the shirt and slacks and let the tie stand out.
that highwater pants dude.. that's Cocktail Chic? dude. It looks like he rolled out of bed. Ugg. I am soooo not fashionable.
Perhaps that's post-cocktail chic.
The attire is described as "Cocktail Chic". I have a tux. Devo dept said a tux is too formal. What the heck is cocktail chic???
Oh, I hate that shit! There was a time when there were rules! None of this "casual cool" or "festively dressy" crap. White tie, black tie, informal, casual. That's it! You knew what to where when! Grrrr.
That said, I suggest dark pants with a shirt and cool tie.

and it looks like he's wearing his pajama top.
Or you could go with a nice shirt, jacket and no tie. I picture something less than a suit but more than khakis and a button down.
and it looks like he's wearing his pajama top.
Some people are taking the 'just got out of bed' look rather seriously at the moment. Half of my students look like they're wearing pajama pants, with tousled hair (that they clearly spent hours getting right, heh) to match. Oh, and Ugg boots.
Seska, I know you're not actually at my uni, but damn, that sounds a lot like my uni.
