Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm having trouble resisting bidding on the last purse in your links, JZ.

ION, I am experimenting to see how many margaritas it takes for either my back not hurting anymore or my not caring that my back is still hurting.

All is well that ends in pizza.

More Bush administration legacy:

A federal arbitrator ruled in March that an employer had, for years, "willfully" violated the Fair Labor Standards Act in exploiting workers by failing to pay overtime. The guilty employer: the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. >[Washington Post, 3-31-09]

There are two cop cars here talking to my upstairs neighbors. I don't know why they are here, but I don't like it.

I wouldn't put anything past the idiot teenager upstairs, who you might all remember from the got locked out and kicked in the door incident. TCG and I are now doing a very quiet chant of, "We want a house".

I think I heard the officer say the word, "shots" as he was coming back downstairs. I'm going to pretend I didn't. The ex husband is here, which is never a good sign, and it does seem to have something to do with the teenager. Everyone is quietly talking and there is no yelling or arresting, so I'm going to go la la la and pretend it's all fine.

ETA: The cops have left, and I'll be calling my landlord in the morning just to give him a heads up.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ick sj, how creepy. I hope all blows over.

I need either a dress to go along with my red church hat (round, smallish brim, alternating sheer and opaque tulle stripes, is definitely a Church Crown) or a hat to go with my black and white polka-dotted, halter-top (medium-skirted in terms of puff and length) dress.

This on the other hand? Pure clothes porn.

I need something. A makeover. A serious frumpectomy. I used to be pretty. (Okay, it was just a brief period there, my 30s, but still... I'd like a bit of it back.)

Thanks, Burrell. I will not be mentioning this incident anywhere on facebook as there are people there who would mention it to my already worries too much mother.
