This is my bag porn:
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
At the risk of sounding like a bitch as well as a Bitch, I'm so over Susan Boyle. every day now, yahoo news has a new dispatch from middle Earth telling us what she's done in the last ten minutes, I swear, But, see, I already get the talent-in-unlikely-places memo. I sort of live it every day, but Simon Cowell doesn't know about it so like the tree falling with nobody to hear it, it doesn't exist. But that is sort of why most feel-good stories don't make me feel anything.
Barb brings the good porn.
I have a gorgeous black leather messenger/laptop bag that I hardly ever use because it's HEAVY.
I can't decide if I want the bag Tom linked more, or the one Barb linked.
I also don't know why my sugar daddy hasn't arrived yet, to shower me with leather laptop bags.
I have a Brenthaven backpack. It's my second one. The first one outlasted 3 laptops. They aren't the sexiest bags on the planet but they work wonderfully and seem to be nearly indestructible.
I'm also considering getting a Timbuk2 bag for when I don't want to travel with two carryon bags. They have one called the Patrol that is carryon sized and does double duty as laptop back and luggage and is a backpack. My laptop bag porn is kinda boring.
Drooling over Barb's bag.
What is it with Timbuk2 bags that makes them worth the money? They look like pretty standard messenger bags to me.
My laptop bag porn is kinda boring.
It's a little more like laptop foreign language film documentary independent class, yeah...
eh, you people are being PRACTICAL. THIS is bag porn.
I don't know about their messenger bags, those do seem pretty run of the mill, but some of their more specialized bags offer features that I've not been able to find elsewhere. They also tend to be really well made, high quality materials and they last a long time. I've had far too many bags fall apart after 6 months of use, the Brenthaven and Timbuk2 bags that I've used have been around for years.
