Wrod, this. And you already have fans.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Today is 10 days non-smoking for Joe and I!!!!
Fuck yeah! So proud of you guys. Are you snarling at each other much, or maintaining an even strain?
Jilli, I have so much confidence in your ability to deal with the media that I'd take my million dollar lottery winnings and hire you just to go charm the pants off people.
And as I think you well know, I consider you to be a Superhero of Personal Style and very, very pretty.
breathes deeply
This post may self-destruct in a few minutes, but just to give you folks an idea of why I'm kind of flipping out:
That's just what has been talked about recently. Head. Explody!
Woooo!! So cool!
doing something at the HarperCollins booth there
Oooh, I wonder if Francesca Lia Block would be there.
Paging, Ple! (or any other jewelry mavens)
I'll be inheriting a big old hunk of southwestern style 70s man jewelry from my dad. It's a silver cuff bracelet with three cat's eyes. His wife was suggesting I break it into three pieces for my nephew Christopher, myself and Emmett. It's a lot of silver.
Imagine something like this but massier and with an open design.
Cat's Eye stones (I guess it's a kind of quartz?)
What the hell can I do with that? Pinkie rings? Tie clip? Wha?
TV interview w/ a local talk/news show
Ha! I knew it! You are too awesomely cool for your publishers to not let people see you. And your adorable cupcakeness will torpedo any attempt by the clueless to go "Euw! Spooky Goth type!"
Letterman. I'm just saying. I called it first. Or whomever is the big daytime person these days.
Jilli, see if you can get a phone interview lined up with Nick Digilio at WGN radio in Chicago. He's the pop-culture guy there, has the weekend evening show (Friday from 11 pm to 2 am, and both Saturday and Sunday nights--can't remember the times though), and talks to people from across the entertainment spectrum. He had a great segment with Tim soon after Firefly finished, and is really good at interviewing.
And overnights on WGN will get you heard in 38 states over the air plus internationally on the internet. Just as an FYI.

Oprah!
Chicago Chicago Chicago.
Also, who's the puppet who interviewed Hec a few years back?
Ratso?
