Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

There's pretty much no vegetable or fruit that I dislike. I even love brussel sprouts and turnips. Other than the part where I don't eat anything that walked, I'm not very picky beyond wanting things as fresh as possible.

Art Crawl!!!

Lately, I've been wondering if the Big Cats are as into catnip as the little ones.

But maybe it doesn't grow where there are lions and tigers.

On the other hand, it certainly grows in North America and there are pumas and jaguars (well in parts of NA).

Anyone know the answer to that?

(I love peppermint and wintergreen and used to hate spearmint but lately have started liking that too. Also: pro-cilantro.)

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Yum yum yum. Not i want to go to a little indian cart in downtown where they made the most yum veggie curries with fresh cilantro on top. I loves me both the spicy coriander and the herby cilantro, but in moderation. i once had a truly nasty sushi maki with fresh cilantro that actually made me gag. Too much!!!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm really amused by the image of a jaguar rolling around on a kitty crack pad, all stoned on catnip.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

YouTube says yes. [link]

Librarian Warlord

Last night my DH gave me a t-shirt that says, "Epidural me early and often!" Ha!

I hope everyone slept well.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Sparky, I saw a card that made me think of you. It said, "Natural, Schmatural. Take the drugs."

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I need that card for Wallybee.

Who knew my mother was writing cards!

It's Take Your Child to Work Day . . . I told my DH that I had it covered this year, but next year it would be his turn.

There's one board game I own, Agricola, which always turns into Send Your Child to Work Day. You can take an action to (ahem) create an addition to your family, and the very next turn they're available to be put to work. Wallybee is particularly enthusiastic about sending the new sprog out after wild boar.
