I love you guys.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I just flipped at my brother's MIL in his FB. She said:
Anyone else want to take the +100 red pen of editing to that email?
I know... I know... I can't help it.
I'm really hating this new conotation of teaparty. I like teaparties!
Yay, vw for saying something!
And it's totally RUINED the meaning of teabagging.
The DC "tea party" didn't come off as planned - they couldn't drop their "one million" tea bags in Lafayette Square and couldn't set up their speaker stand in front of the Treasury building because they didn't have a permit (for the speaker stand - the tea bags I'm unclear on). I'm wondering if they deliberately neglected to get a permit - or the proper permit - so they could later scream about being discriminated against by the overwhelming forces of the liberal tyrants.
And, in demonstration news, it seems that the IMF and World Bank will be in town this weekend - DCistas, plan to stay away from the demonstrations. And traffic.
When my nieces were 11 or 12 an American Girl store (I think it was the first) opened off Michigan Avenue in Chicago. We took them to a tea party where they had special chairs so your dolls could sit at the the table with you. They had all these wonderful delicate little treats including cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off. We had a wonderful time.
And it's totally RUINED the meaning of teabagging.
I had to define teabagging for my mom yesterday.
She was ranting about the tea party freaks, and I joined in the ranting, and then said that I at least got a laugh out of the wider use of the word "teabagging." She asked what it meant, and I said, "Wait a minute. YOU are the one who used the phrase 'pulling a train,' but you don't know what teabagging is? You have a spotty education when it comes to vulgarities."
This was her response to the permit thing:
Permit acquired: Amendment I, Constitution of the United States of America: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or bridging the freedom of speech,or of the press, OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE, AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES. (Ratified and in effective since December 15, 1791.)
I just took the high road and said that out of respect for my brother I was walking away from the conversation.
I'm sorry about your uncle, Scrappy.
Oh, Scrappy. I am so sorry. Peace to your whole family.
Scrappy, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. Peace to you and your family.
