Laga, I'm sorry you are suffering from after effects from that wonderful show!
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
thanks for the sympathy. Mostly I wish I were more tolerant of smoke. I felt it was being used in a legitimate artistic capacity to enhance the show. Too bad it's poison.
Toddson, I had the same thought as Andi about the breathability, but damn that's a gorgeous dress. And I remember some F2F Prom pictures of you that prove that you can carry off regal and drop-dead elegant like nobody else.
My mother has diagnosed me with a sinus infection, over the phone, and thinks I should go to the student health center and get antibiotics. I know that they wouldn't give antibiotics for stuffed-up sinuses with no fever or other symptoms, and mostly, I just want to rest, and not get dressed and walk six blocks to the student health center just to be told to rest. I have a feeling that my mom will keep calling me about this one, though.
That's why god made answering machines
gah vendors! I don't understand it. You have a product that I want to give you money for. Why won't you call me back?
edit- hah! Forwarded my unanswered emails to customer service to their controller. Got a call back in 45 minutes.
Why, thank you, JZ. I'm going to hit the stores - I have a nice gift card for Needless Markup ... they might have something (unless they've already gone into the Fall 2009 fashions).
Here's a fun work thing. So we're supposed to check all the xit doors before we go home at night to be sure they're secure. When a certain manager closed, sometimes I would open and during my morning walk through find a door ajar. I talked to the manager and she said the janitor must have left it open. I talked to the janitor, he said he never used the exits. It happened again, I talked to the manager, she blamed the janitor. I asked the janitor if he could please check the doors and they've been secure every morning until the manager in question came back from maternity leave. Last night she had her first closing shift and there was a door left open. I'm guessing after she went on leave the janitor found the doors secure every night so he stopped checking. Now I have to tell this manager. So not a conversation I want to have.
No fun, Laga.
I should be working on the presentation I have to do tomorrow on my Newbery class. Somehow it is not happening.
Man, I have had a great day! Both Tom and I had it off work (for Patriot's Day) and we slept in, chilled out, had some excellent, uh, quality time... then went to Lush and to get Tom some new clothes. Then some BBQ and now Tom is cleaning the kitchen.
Do I really need to get back to reality tomorrow???
