they want her to do a treadmill stress test on a 36 hour fast? That's mean.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It's not even a fast - it's that she *couldn't* eat anything yesterday on a ccount of the heart-attack like excruciating pain that she suffered when she tried to eat a small piece of dry toast.
ugh! The poor thing. Tons of tummy ~ma (and sensible hospital care ~ma) headed your Mom's way, Aims.
Oh, Aims. That sucks for your mom. Sending major cluesticking and hairy eyeball vibes to that hospital.
I've been trying for 45 min. to concentrate enough to write out a check for a bill that needs to be paid. Haven't made any significant progress since writing in the name on the "pay to the order of" line. Scratch that. I can't write today, messed up irretrievably with spelling out the amount, had to void it. At least I can still print.
food ma~~~ to your mom and get on the stick to the hospital
And you can type!
on-line bill pay!
I just renewed a library book over the phone. Truly we are living in a golden age.
And you can type!
Wacky, isn't it? I would say it takes even less concentration than printing, but I'm having to delete and retype like I'm drunk posting.
Re: Civics engine off -- the one I'm driving now does that, but it comes back on I think as soon as I take my foot off the brake, and I barely notice it anymore. Except for when I'm sitting at a drive-through and think, "I'm so glad it does this." It did bug me at first, but it takes less time to get going on a hill than it did when I drove a stick shift and had to go from brake to gas before I rolled too much.
