Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

GC, you win. Your prize is a whole weekend; expect delivery around EOB today, but, damn, I wish I could stuff it through the internets to you right this second.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Well, I am working at home today, so weekend kind of already here!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My grandfather has been in pain with a kidney stone for over a week, and today he finally gets in to see his doctor, only for his doctor to do nothing and schedule tests for Tuesday. Grr.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He was. He had his full measure of fun on planet earth, I think.

Some scans of my Dad.

Or scary! Depending on your point of view. He got into clowning when he was in the Air Force.

Certainly the reserves. Isn't that where Bush evaded the draft? :: rim shot ::

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

David, my sympathies to you and your family, and my love to you.

P-C, best wishes for your grandfather.

The rest of you, good health wishes, sleep ~ma, and all manner of good wishes. Smiteage as wished for asshat bosses and contrary circumstances that are currently troubling Buffistas.
