Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I own it! Thanks to someone here linking it, naturally. Love it.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think there was too much salt in the yummy Indian food last night. I dreamed about how thirsty I was all night long.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're moving toward getting ourselves to the beach. It's been a slow process this morning.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

225. Seems like such a big number. I trimmed about 20 folks out of Facebook. I don't think I nicked any Buffistas, but if I did, it was unintentional. I removed a lot of "limited profile" folks from college and high school that I never really cared about then. 225 still seems like a lot. I dunno.

Art Crawl!!!

I have a friend who loves Twilight and bought it on BlueRay. Yes, I will be watching that movie. (She's a very close friend and I will support her madness as she has supported mine.)

Her nieces and sister (their mom) are also v. into it. (I think she actually read the series so that she could discuss with her nieces - it is kind of fun to participate in something that the younglings are so obsessed with.) Last weekend her sister and kids invited friends and had a nice mother-daughter viewing of the dvd at their house.

As silly as I think that series is - stories like that prevent me for hating it.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

"And then Buffy staked Edward. The end."

That really is up there with the "It sank. Get over it." TITANIC t-shirts an acquaintance of mine made a fortune on.

brillig

I kind of liked the movie, given all its silliness. Hubby was listening to the book o tape an said that we'd stick to the movies.

I have that t-shirt. Wore it to a RWA conference and was scolded for being mean.

I have no idea where they thought I wasn't.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Of course, a cute non-killing vampire crosses paths with Buffy and staking is not what happens. Alas.
