Hey guys--just wanted to let you know I made it through surgery okay. Still in the hospital, but should be sprung tomorrow, provided I don't need a transfusion. My hemoglobin is really low (5.5--normal is 12) and the doc is a little concerned.
Thanks for all the ~ma
I hope you get to go home on schedule, Barb. Healing ~ma to you.
Argh. Board ate my post.
Recapping.
Much healing-ma to you, Barb, and please keep us posted. Hil, I'm sorry you're in so much chronic pain and hope you find some answers.
sj, if you could define spendy for the various meals, that would help me give you the best recs.
Had fun taking friend T to Disneyland for her bday yesterday. She had never been and was so cute and bouncy. Nice to make a good friend so happy. And now I must wrangle Byron into the cat carrier and take him to the vet. Yay?
Been thinking about you, Barb. Glad to hear things went okay. Will continue having you in my thoughts for your recovery.
Speedy recovery~ma to you, Barb.
Jealous of Kristin's Disneyland day.
My cold still refuses to die.
Barb, may you have a quick and as pain-free a recovery as possible.
Much healing ~ma coming Barb's way...with extra super-special-hemogloben-energizing-sauce.
Let's see how many people didn't get the message.
Raises hand. Thanks for the heads-up Todd. Given my overall health and well-being at the mo, getting freaked out by a fireball would not have been good.
The AlertDC message sez no fireball:
A film production special effects scene will take place March 25 between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the Potomac River. It will last only two seconds and will involve a brief flash and plume of smoke.
Ah. I was uptown that the doctor's office, so I missed it.
