So. There's a leftists meeting in my campus in 25 minutes, of this group. At first, as much as I support this kind of activities, it was pretty much clear to me that I won't be there. Politics is something very tricky, especially on campus, and also, yours truly feels like she's doing enough (well, not "enough" enough, but within reasonable life stuff) for goals like this. Also, going there just to hear horror stories that will break my heart seemed pointless. Also, although I served in IDF, I wasn't on any combat duty.
But something in me tells me I should go, anyway. I'll give it a try, but dammit, that's gonna be so weird. I hope not too weird. But I'm just so disgust with the current racism in Israel, that I feel like I need to hear saner people. Just not so sure how sane they'll be.
And what does it say of my cocktail tastes that I remember fondly that Kamikaze I had at the F2F last June and want another?
Oh, I've had the chocolate cake shot!! (Surprise) It really does taste like choolate cake. It's yummy, although I wouldn't want to do a lot of them -- it's rich.
