Oh, yuck. That's awful!
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Poor trees. Poor sj.
Happy birthday, Raq!
Happy birthday, Kathy!
FINALLY. My biopsy is scheduled for March 31. Jeebus that took forever.
Happy Birthdays, Raq and Kathy!
Happy Birthday, Raq!!!
Happy Birthday, Kathy!!!
I hope you both have a fabulous day!
Fay, I don't know if you can help me with this, but I was wondering if you would have any suggestion where someone who lives in Cambridge may have a wedding registry? A friend of mine lives there now, just got married. She is having a wedding reception here in a couple of weeks, and I plan on giving her a gift in pounds sterling. However, I'd like to have something more personal sent to her Cambridge address.
I've been sick so long I'm not sure I recognize "better." I'm supposed to tell the doctor today if this last-ditch antibiotic and prednisone combo is working, and, if not, set up a head CT. Don't wanna. I think I'm better, but am I fooling myself to avoid the scan and getting an ENT appointment? I guess I'll wait until the afternoon, when I usually crash. My sense of smell is improved, anyway. I know that the dog really needs a bath. He has been hanging over the hole of some wee beastie for several days and perhaps there has been carnage and decay.
Happy Birthday, Raq and Kathy!
Happy Birthday to Raq and Kathy!

HAHAHA! Awesome! Totally made my morning.
Speaking of. I had the MOST bizarre dream this morning. Alarm clocks and construction trucks backing up did not help any. At one point I/we in the dream had the power to push the water in the canal way up stream (which I announced in the dream as futile without a barrier to keep it there, and sure enough, the water surged back). But then we didn't use said powers to lift heavy equipment, so there we all were scrambling, all hands lifting, what seemed like a jack hammer, trying to get in a screw head to screw some heavy piece of machinery into place. It was bizarre. I think it was a combination of installing the programmable thermometer plus watching LOST right before bed, and reading an article on the dikes in the Netherlands. Either way, the last super-snooze button didn't allow me to finish the task. The dream was gone. Hate it when that happens. And I'm still gronkified.
Happy birthdays Raq (localista wishes that you are enjoying the gorgeous sunshine today) & Kathy!
Oh Ginger, complete healing~ma to you.
Steph, (and others of the pharmacological wisdom) when you are around, I have a question about antibiotics.
The history: two week old uti. I treated it myself for the first week with cranberry and propolis. Then, a friend got me a course of Cipro...I don't have insurance and even less money. But after 4 days of the Cipro, it's obvious this particular strain is resistant. I called an old doctor of mine who prescribed Bactrim, side unseen.
Question: Is there any reason to fear taking one antibiotic right after the other?
I'm taking acidophilus and other probiotics to assist my deforested gut.
eta: I'm thinking that typing 'histiry' means my hysteria is showing.
