I defer to Jilli on all things corset-y, but I know she's said that a properly fitted custom corset is exceedingly comfortable to wear all day.
Custom fitted corset = more comfortable than a bra. The support comes from the hips up, instead of from the shoulders down. And yes, I've worn corsets over high-collar blouses and with jackets to work.
Pete had a good birthday. Lots of friends over, and people taking over my kitchen and making food. Always a good thing!

One time when I was in uni, a friend and I did a weekend road trip. When we got back, it was way early in the morning - so she let me crash at her place because it would have been a pain for me to get back into my dorm room. She was sharing a large apartment with a number of other women. First she had me sack out on the couch in the living room, but then several of the education majors who had to get up earlier than any other students woke me up. They suggested I borrow someone else's bed, but then the other person in that room got up and had to get ready for class. Eventually I ended up in a rather large storage closet where there was a cot with no blankets or sheets. I have no memory of actually getting to class that day.
Yes, why do we not just have ShirCam all the time, in fact? Except, of course, when she's in the shower or something.
