Spike: Ladies. Come on in. Plenty of blood in the fridge, don't be shy. Dawn: You mean like, real blood? Spike: What do you think? Dawn: Mostly I think, 'Eew!'

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Happy birthday, Suzi! And ~ma for your mom, Aims.

So I'm buying a car and wanted to consult the hivemind. Using U.S. News and World Report rankings as a guideline, I'm looking at the Chevrolet Malibu, Mazda Mazda6, Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, and Hyundai Sonata. One of these better just stand out and be awesome. The Camry was fine, but I feel like not getting The Car That Everyone Has. (I've arbitrarily nixed the Accord on the basis that it's basically a more expensive Camry.) I'm looking at midsize sedans since I plan to keep this car for a long time, and it'll be good to have a bigger car for my future dysfunctional family. Or, if you're my uncle, I'm looking at midsize sedans because they are inherently safer than small cars because of physics.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think the Ford Fusion is the best looking of the ones you listed, plus I think it ranks highly with the other cars. If it were me, it'd be between the Fusion and the Mazda 6. Or maybe also the Altima.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So I'm sitting in the hallway since we have too many visitors and the waiting room was Full Of Plague. I decree that EMT's are, for the most part, Still Hot.

Much -ma to you and your mom, Aimee--last thing you need right now!!

P-C, I'd say just go test drive them--I was surprised at how much some of the very very similar cars I drove felt very very different to me, when I was buying a car. I was looking at small SUVs, and they all had almost identical specs, but felt so different when I drove them, both in terms of "how does it feel when I hit the gas, or go around corners" and just in terms of "EW, suddenly I realize that I HATE red-glowing dials, I would feel like my car was the devil" or "Huh, I really like where the arm rest is, it's so comfy" little things.
