[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Nora, your poor grandmother. Lots and lots of vibes to her, and no-more-sick to you.

And bath-and-whiskey~ma to Anne.

sj, I'm glad you're going and glad (but completely unsurprised) that TCG is being so good and sweet about it even with the difficulty. I've spent the past couple of days being gnawed at by guilt over never having gotten in touch one last time with my friend who just passed away to tell him how dear he was; it sucks, and I'm very glad that this particular guilt monster will never be able to touch you. Your friend will know how much she means to you, and you'll know she knows. {{{both of you}}}

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{Anne}}}

Nora, lots of ~ma to your grandmother. And some for you.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

What's up with ita?

I believe she was going in for surgery to try to sort out this fucked up pain situation that's been plaguing her.

Back surgery. Does not tackle the migraine directly. (Though with migraine, other pains can be a trigger, so best case is it not only helps with back pain, but reduces migraine frequency.)

Much ~ma for ita.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Someone who wears the same perfume as my Mom spilled some on their money and I kept smelling it as I was counting out the day's receipts. It was alternately comforting and unsettling. Things that are not Mom should not smell like Mom!

From postsecret- Would you call?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh, Nora, I hope everything will go well with your grandmother's operation. The whole situation sounds exhausting.

And so much ~ma to ita, too.

And I think the quilt looks wonderful, vw. I wish I knew how to make these. Though right now, on "hobbies" list, finding a place to teach me how to dance swing comes first. Also, "hobbies" list is on freeze until I'll find a new job.

Laga, I wouldn't call. Unless that would hit a nerve, that postcard seems too much passive aggressive.

(Oh, and I'm back. Finished the last test (for this semester) 40 minutes ago. Can't even begin to tell you how much I missed you all!)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, JZ. I'm sure your friend knew that you cared about him. I'm sorry you didn't get to say good-bye.

Much -ma for ita and for Nora's grandmother.

Umm, I'm obviously missing something. sj, are you OK?
