[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

One advantage of living in Dallas. If the Post Office screws up and doesn't deliver your Woot, you can drive to their headquarters and pick it up. Yup, I'm in the Woot! Lobby right now.

Whee! We just bought our tickets for our 5 year anniversary trip to San Francisco and Northern CA! I know it's ridiculously early (we go in October), but having it done makes it really real.

ETA: I've been doing research on the non-SF hotel options, but would love recommendations for SF places.

Happy birthday, Suzi!

Just to give you an idea of how the dog is reacting to his house arrest: he just brought a shoe into the office, plopped down beside me, looked at me a minute and started chewing on the shoe.

I love the purposefulness of actions like this. Not ones for vague disclaimers, our dogs.

Bartleby has only been destructive three times in our 7 years together. Once was a serial chewing of an appointment book which remains a mystery to me.

The other two involved the same boyfriend and his dog who visited often. First, Bboy chewed the fellow's very spendy Kenneth Cole shoe. (His dog then destroyed my velvet duvet, so we were even) When that didn't work, Bartleby waited for me to come home from a date, then ran down two flights of stairs to grab my sandal....bring it up to the bathroom door at the back of the apartment...wait until I was looking right at him...and promptly chewed off a strap right in front of me.

Yep. It was a statement.
