'The Message'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Thanks for the good wishes y'all. I didn't mean to hijack the thread.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Don't if it is the same thing but shrimp chips are widely available.

Not the same thing but also delicious. Also I love how they look like tiddlywinks before you throw them in the oil.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oy. My mother is editing the synagogue bulletin. She's working on an article that, in an explanation of why we're celebrating a once-every-28-years sun blessing holiday, states "the sun cycles the heavens once every 28 years." This was written by the rabbi. ::headdesk::

(She just called him. After a bit of discussion, he agreed to add a "The rabbis believed" to the beginning of the sentence. Though first, he tried to explain to her how the sun circles the heavens.)

She's reading more of it aloud. I just literally begged her to add "relative to the earth" to a sentence saying "the sun returns to its original position."

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

(She just called him. After a bit of discussion, he agreed to add a "The rabbis believed" to the beginning of the sentence. Though first, he tried to explain to her how the sun circles the heavens.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hungrily, like the mighty panther?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It looks like we may be in Pasadena at the end of this month from the 27th through the 30th. Another friend of mine is going to have a get together for D (the friend I mentioned earlier who has breast cancer). I don't know if we'll have any time to see locals, but if we do take any time for ourselves at all it would probably be to go to the Huntington Museum on the 29th.

The status is NOT quo.

Crap, sj, we're going to be gone that whole week. I mean obviously I'm sure you'll have a lot going on in such a sad time, but I'm sorry we'll miss you.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Where do we discuss Grey's Anatomy?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Where do we discuss Grey's Anatomy?

I would guess Boxed Set... unless it counts as procedural. I haven't seen it & I'm not a Boxed Set denizen.
