Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Aww kitties! I think Nalu looks more like a Dean. He comes off (in those two pictures) as too punky for a Nalu. Maddie looks like a Maddie.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

What adorable kitties!

She demonstrated buying food for seven days for $7: iirc, pasta, rice, tomato soup, chopped frozen spinach and a couple of bananas. She went on about how much healthier it was.

Yes. Right until the kwashiorkor hits.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I finished the second Elsie book. Not much interesting happened after her father learned to love Jesus. Elsie is still remarkably obedient and incredibly boring, but the demands on her are all the usual stuff, like keeping her dress clean and coming home for tea on time, that you'd expect.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Right until the kwashiorkor hits.

Scurvy. Pellagra. Rickets.

Pellegra was the curse of poor Southerners who ate locally, when their diet was grits, cornbread, pork products and occasional greens.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Dinner tonight was shrimp sauteed in butter and garlic, with basil and chive, served over linguine, with diced tomatoes. Yum.

I'm not sure I got everything quite right, but it's still pretty good. I'm glad to have the kitchen to myself, but my technique still needs critiquing and refining, so it sucks now cooking in a vacuum.

Come cook for me! And who could imagine I'd have said that sentence five years ago, huh?

The trick with shrimp is to not overcook them. In and out quickly. If they totally curl up they get tough.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I didn't know regular yogurt had HFCS in it! What the hell, Yoplait.

I knew things were getting really bad a couple of years ago when I bought some Diet Orange Crush and the second ingredient was HFCS.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Went food shopping tonight, took far too long. Found a teriyaki sauce whose FIRST ingredient was HFCS!! Crazy!! It is very difficult to go completely HFCS + PHO free. It's in everything. I try. I also try to keep salt intake down. Never 100%. But I try.

So an I right in remembering HFCS is thanks to corn lobbying putting tax on sugar to make HFCS cheaper?

Our wings are not tired.

Sean, sorry, but I might've missed something. Did S move to Texas??
