'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Pi Day is the only thing that makes me wistful for the American date format. Mostly I think ours makes more sense (she says, controversially), but I'd give that up for Pi Day.

...oh, God. There needs to be Pi Day SPN fic, for Dean. Jesus. Just what I need - ANOTHER bloody plot bunny.

Thrive to spite them

I'm staying away from Elsie books because those are just disturbing.

I met 2 cats today. They were nice and I'm sure will be nice kitties but I don't think they are for me. I'm waiting for a "click" and there was no click. Or maybe a ping. but anyway no ping or click.

Or, of course, you can wait to be looking at all the cats and have one reach out and put his paw on your hand, which is what Amon did to me at the rescue event where I met him. I was looking for a female, though, and went with two other cats who either needed medical checkups or showed odd ailments that needed more treatment, so I shrugged and thought, "OK, Bast, you've made your point. Let's go with the Siamese."

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just got home from marching in the second largest St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was craziness, rush, rush, wait, wait, wait, rush, rush. I'm exhausted.

As soon as I got home, I got a call from one of the dojo mom's inviting me out for cocktails at her place. I declined in favor of a hot bath. A few minutes later her husband, who trains at the dojo, called to tell me the invitation is open if I am in the mood after relaxing a bit. I haven't decided if I'm going out or not, but I feel like I'm starting to build a social network here.

Irish soda bread french toast

Oh. Oh, that sounds awesome. I'm going to have to try to do that sometime. Irish soda bread is one of those things that I love and isn't too annoying (to me) to make, so I could do that. Hmmm.

I kind of agree with you - I mean day, month, year - smallest to biggest, right? Though, clearly, I'm used to my way, so...

Elsie, Elsie, Elsie. That's some creepy, disturbing shit.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah, I always wondered how the U.S. ended up with our date format. Not enough to actually research it though.[On edit: did a quick google. Speculation is it derived from the way spoken speech evolved. In UK people said stuff along the lines the 15th day of the 4th month of the 1785th year of our lord. Whereas in the U.S. a lot people in a hurry said stuff like "April 15th, 1785". Don't know the accuracy, but seems plausible.]

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Alright I've got pie. 2 kinds actually, pizza and blueberry.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fuck. Just realized I left my dry cleaning at the office so I have to go there before I go to the airport tomorrow. Dammit.

And I have no pie.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Or, of course, you can wait to be looking at all the cats and have one reach out and put his paw on your hand, which is what Amon did to me at the rescue event where I met him.

Amarna climbed on top of me in the cat room at the shelter. So had other cats, but she immediately curled up in my arms and started cleaning herself, which struck me as making herself at home as opposed to taking advantage of a sucker who'll pet any cat who comes by. Then she wouldn't let me leave, so I made it a point to memorize her collar number and ask for her details at the front desk.

Looking back, it was a definitely "click" with us. I hadn't thought about getting a black cat, but I did want a female around 2 or 3 years old, and she fit that perfectly. It wasn't until I got her home that I found out how talkative she is, which I highly enjoy (except for when it's 3:00 am).
