Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thank yo Jess for picking that up. I love that show.
Sorry, Jess' brain is taking a song break right now. Please leave her a message and she will get back to you. ( Da-doo! )
ita, I suspect I don't get morning people as profoundly as you don't get non-morning people.
I just don't have high level functions right away. the boot up is slow.
Oh, yes. Once or twice, right after I started abilify and right after I started taking 5-htp, I woke up and was instantly *awake*. It was a revelatory experience. Sadly, it didn't last.
I yawn all day long. I don't even realize I'm doing it until people point it out. And then they make jokes and I want to smack them. Doesn't matter how much sleep or how much caffeine I've had, I still yawn.
The thing is, I could set my hours at 10-7 if I wanted to, I just can't stand to leave work that late. So my "start time" is 8:30, but I try and get there at 8 so I can have an hour lunch. Today I got here at 9:15.
'Til it's five p eeeeeemmmmmm / Then you go
My nephew woke me up with a phone call this morning- informing me that his niece has arrived. The next generation is relentlessly being born.

I'm switching between GLEE earworms of "Defying Gravity" and the "It's My Life/Confessions" mashup.
It's... interesting.
I know I shouldn't say it out loud, but I have never gotten not morning people.
I've never gotten morning people. Then I moved in with one. She gets up at 5am and is asleep by 9pm. In an ideal world, I would get up at 9am and go to bed at 1am. Since that would mean we never ever saw each other ever ever, I am working on going to bed at 11 and getting up at 7. It's HARD work.
ETA: I found old 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie' eps to ahem, and am watching them during study breaks. So much fun!
Hey buffista mommas: what gift do you wish someone had brought you when you were in the hospital with your new baby?
