Hi all. Sorry for being all flaily and sillycakes. I've been working today, so no naps, but I have had a little caffeine. That helped.
Hil, I'm so sorry you have such an ass for an "advisor."
How cool is Bitches right now? We had weddings and engagements over Halloween. Up coming nuptials. We have new sprog out in the world playing and killing us with the cute. New sprog getting ready to come out. It's so cool! The love! it's all around us! {{{ Hugs the group }}}
THIS.
{{{omnis}}} That was a sweet post. The bowling ball is now resting quietly.
Sorry if it seemed like I was attacking you, Kristin. I really was trying NOT to make it seem like that. I just don't agree, is all.
It's morbid curiosity. So far I've used it as eye liner and it looked great.
I love that color. And it once prompted me to ask, "Where's my Morbid Curiosity at? I know I had it this morning." while sharing a hotel room with my neicelet.
The really kick ass thing about Aromaleigh is that you can order sample baggies of, I think, everything including all of their shadows. They are about a $1 a piece and ship free if you just buy samples. I have a ton of things to try and I've likely bought more full sizes because of it too. I get a chance to live with colors and see if they work.

According to Burrell's earlier link, $.75 apiece until 11/11.
Ow. I think this wisdom tooth is pressing against a nerve or something.

Oh, sure, take the word of someone with actual *facts* over me guessing.
(They're on SALE! Time to see what else I want to try!)

No, I didn't think you were attacking, I was just confused about what you didn't agree with. My wording may have been poor (likely was poor), but I don't think we actually have different opinions. I wasn't trying to say that my wedding or its implications would be exactly the same if I were marrying a woman, because definitely the legal aspect is what's so important and yet is denied, and any marriage is diminished when the state/country doesn't recognize it.
I was just trying to say that my
reasons
for getting married were primarily personal, not legal. So it wouldn't be the same, legally, no, but it would be the same emotionally. For me, at least.
ETA: Don't get me wrong, I get that the emotional impact of not having a legal marriage is huge, but the weddings I've been to of same-sex couples were not diminished on that day because of stupid asshattery. If anything, they've been even more powerful and profound. That's been my experience, of course, YMMV.
So. Guess who didn't show up for our meeting today.
Damn, Hil. Is there some kind of anonymous online rate-your-teacher site where you can rip him to shreds and save other students a lot of anguish?
