Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Glam, if you decide to, let me know. I'm not much good in a fight, but I'll do what I can.

Trust my rage

Maybe your mom realized that she had done all she could and it wasn't worth beating herself up over it. I wish I could do that.

Your mom doesn't really sound like the guilt type, but I will say when I look back at my childhood (usually trying to remember how we did X in our family), I find that I can't really remember when I was Ellie's age (4).

we'll be paying between $2-4K and have to have a home study and the whole fucking thing.

I'm so sorry you have to do all this. It seems like such bullshit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

GC, that's a bunch of the highest crap.

I will say when I look back at my childhood (usually trying to remember how we did X in our family), I find that I can't really remember when I was Ellie's age (4).

I've gone as far back as toilet training with my memories, but I'm sure they're highly slanted.

My mother works her guilt now, through us. I don't think it was much of a factor when we were young.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

From what I can see, we'll be paying between $2-4K and have to have a home study and the whole fucking thing. So my wife can parent her own fucking child. OMG I'm ready to beat someone.

Hang on, I'll bring my cricket bat. That is BEYOND offensive.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I have had a Good Day

Awesome. And hey, I had a Good Day myself. I vote for more days like it.

However --

No more days like this to Stephanie and GC. Seriously. Or this year's going on The List.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

That is BEYOND offensive.

OMG yes it is. GOD! I would like to participate in a beatdown about this myself.

JZ - Nov 02, 2009 10:38:35 am PST #29108 of 30000
See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I know it's piss-poor little, GC, but tonight I'm going to an interfaith pro gay marriage with ALL civil rights included service in San Francisco, part of a small but hopefully growing statewide movement to give people of faith a safe space to make some noise about disagreeing with their church hierarchies, let them know where to find the hierarchies that are on their side, and prod everyone into some positive activism. I so hope my own depression and kid-having responsibilities don't derail me from getting seriously involved, because you and your DW and the Glambaby, and all the GCs and DWs and babies across the country, deserve no less.

Info on events around the state today and tomorrow is here.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

A beatdown! Yay!

... anyone needs a girl who can use an M-16?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

JZ, you're awesome. And loved.

That is all.

Now tagless for your comfort.

GC, that really is bullshit. Friends of just did the 2nd parent adoption in Indiana. Which was just really awesome because their son is 14 and he wanted both his moms to be "legal." (JR is J's from a previous marriage.) I had no idea it was such an expensive, invasive process to go through.
