I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It will suck suck suck to have it dark by 4:30, but I can't handle getting up while it's totally dark.

Our wings are not tired.

dances at the thought of an extra hour

Getting up every morning in the dark kills me. My body insists that waking up doesn't happen until dawn. Then all summer it wants to get up at absurdly early hours. The earlier sunset is a drag, but it never exactly gets dark here so it doesn't bother me that much.

It is a big deal when we get hurricanes and lose power for days because everybody sits outside at night to look at the stars we never see because of city lights. t /random

“Not dead yet!”

::sits on the looking forward to the earlier dark bench::

I like it. I like getting up when it's still dark because it's more peaceful and I feel very secure and cocooned. I like the getting dark a bit earlier because again, the security. It's sort of a perverse feeling, but I love having a warmly lit home while the world around me is dark. It's like a blanket.

I wonder if that's part of why I don't like walking outside in the dark-- it's too much. The blanket's too spread out, as it were. I'm very content to be inside while the world around me is dark.

::iz contrary whackjob::

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My body insists that waking up doesn't happen until dawn. Then all summer it wants to get up at absurdly early hours.

This is me, too. I suspect it wouldn't be a problem, ever, if I went to sleep at sunset, also, but I don't.

Remember to change the batteries in your fire alarms, also, people with battery-powered fire alarms.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I far prefer waking up in the dark to the sun setting in the mid-afternoon. Daylight savings can bite me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I prefer more light in the evenings, but either way, I wish they'd nail it down and leave it there. DST is ridic.

Hi. Lurker thread made me miss y'all more than usual, so I'm back, at least for a bit.

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Happy Anniversary Reasons!

Happy Wedding Nicole and soon-to-be DH!!!

Happy Discounted Candy-Day Eve!!!

Couldn't say it better myself (so I didn't). My favorite holiday comes only three times a year: Half-Price Candy Day, the day after Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Easter.

Absolutely. The body is slow to adjust to either springing ahead or falling back.
