Haaaaa, smonster, that is a great costume.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
God, yes. The Girl's parents are so busy being annoyed I'm a Woman, they've completely missed the Not A Jew thing.
I've often been tempted to see which one of my mother's bigotries would win out - which is worse, her daughter in an interracial couple or with a girl? Of course, black girl FTW but I haven't dated one yet. I did date an African American boy once but not long enough for him to meet the folks or even tell them about it (that was before "Coming Out the Sequel: I'm Bisexual!"). (And silly, KBD and I don't count as interracial. He's just ASIAN!! @@)

of course it's not interracial, Asians are the good minority! @@. I had a friend who dated a black guy and her mother actually said "if you can't date a white boy, can you at least date a nice oriental boy?"
Well, she can point out she doesn't have a foreskin.
*snerk*

Sometimes it's suprising. Upon finding out about me, TG's 80-year-old grandmother was just delighted she wasn't marrying a black man.
And you should so try out a few experiments to see which prejudice wins!

My mom says, "No BMMW." Meaning Black, Mexican, Muslim, or White.
How about non-Mexican Hispanics?
I think we need some Venn diagrams.
One thing I find interesting is that most of the time I hear about bigotry toward interracial marriage it's black guy/white woman. Yet, just being in stores and stuff, it's not unusual for me to see that combination, but I've almost never seen white guy/black woman. I wonder why that is, is it a just a skewed perspective by me, white woman == beauty prejudice, something else?

I don't think my mom would know the difference.
I remember noticing the same thing back in high school, Gud.
We had a school counselor (white male) who had a photo of him and his wife on his desk, and what stood out for us was not only was his wife African-American (this was unusual for Joliet in 1984), but she was a real stunner of a woman (she could have been a model), and he was such a nebbishy-looking guy, we wondered how he managed to get her to look twice at him.

I sense a Native American loophole there.
