I took some of the apples, peeled them, cut them into chunks (removing the bad spots), tossed them with a little sugar and cinnamon, and baked the whole thing. yum!
That is totally my go-to thing whenver I have fruit that is about to go bad. It works with so many!
I like mixing oatmeal, butter and brown sugar to top baked apples.

I had a productive day today. I edited my article and sent it to my advisor with a note that I'm putting it up on arxiv next Thursday and I'd appreciate any comments he has before that, I edited my teaching statement some (thanks for the read-through, Seska!), and I wrote four more cover letters.
