I have, smonster. I have a gorgeous in-stock corset that I bought from them a couple of years ago.
'Help'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
My name-sake cousin is exceptionally pregnant, so she's going as Juno for Halloween. Complete with Slushie! Bwahahaha!
Delurking again to say this is awesome, but I could also see clutching an empty jug of SunnyD and a pee stick.
Oh child o'mine, how you vex me.
Emeline decided a few weeks ago that she liked my pink and black lunchbox more than her red one. She asked nicely if we could trade and I agreed. What the hell, right?
Today, she wouldn't stop swinging her lunchbox around at lunch, even though she was asked/told repeatedly to stop it. She did not and the zipper of the lunchbox got caught in another child's hair which took quite a long time to get undone. I imagine there was A LOT of crying. The lunchbox was confiscated by Mrs P and a note was sent home. Emeline went right into her room when she got off the bus and when she came out, told Joe, "Daddy, don't look under my dresser." Which, of course he did and found the note from the teacher telling the tale.
Tomorrow we will be going to school early to apologize to Mrs P and get my lunchbox back. I will also be stopping off for some brown paper bags.
Right now, I'd totally rather have the dance-date.
If you choose to keep bringing your adorable and cutie-pie children in here, I am going to be forced to smish them and take them home.
And vaccinate them!
I love Rick. Rick, please lurk less. Or if you must lurk, please commence supporting me in email.
My 34-weeks-pregnant coworker can't get an H1N1 vaccine for love or money. The county has the nasal mist only (not safe for preggos); nobody here has the shot yet.
They're doing H1N1 vaccinations at a number of the city colleges today - first I've heard of it being available in the city. Only for the high risk groups - under 24, pregnant or with diagnosed complicating factors.
Hrmph. Want corset but really can't afford it at the moment and trying to navigate their sizing recommendations/styles/swatches is too much brain for right now.
Ah, well, probably for the best.
Thanks for the heads up anyway, Barb! I hope someone can take advantage of the sale. Any idea how long it runs?
Any idea how long it runs?
It's a quickie-- just until Thursday.
And the neat thing about them is that even when you place an order for an in-stock corset, they immediately email you and ask for your measurements to make sure you ordered the best size in the particular corset you selected. Which, they just did with me on the one I just ordered-- I wanted a waist trainer not just for the muscles, but I want some support for my back because I've gotten into some terrible slouching habits at my desk.
So basically, if you stick to the 2-6 inches less than your natural waist size parameter and then just pick the style/fabric, it's easy peasy from there
I wish they weren't so spendy.
