This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yipes!! {{{Todd}}}

I'm fine - got the all-clear from the surgeon on Monday. It was a laproscopic operation, so it was just three small-ish incisions - and some truly impressive bruising. I've been back at the office since the 13th, but we're in the pre-conference hysteria phase (those of you who've worked at trade associations will understand), so this has been pretty much my first chance to log on and catch up.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Ouch, Toddson! How are you now?

And for God's sake, just how many days you have to go with appendicitis until they removed your appendix?!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Holy crap, Toddson! Glad all ended up well.

Yup - the main delay was getting myself to the ER. I thought it was just really bad constipation or gas. Once I got there they scooted me through, did the test as soon as possible (I had to drink this icky contrast fluid and then wait 90 minutes to absorb it). But I was early enough that they could get me rehydrated, pump me full of antibiotics, get an operating room and surgeon scheduled. So ... no complications, it was about as non-dangerous as possible.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Still, yikes!

Our wings are not tired.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Glad to hear you're recovering, Todd.

OMG two more hours.

I'm good - still get a little twinge, but I've been cleared for most activities (when they released me on the allowed activities they'd checked off sex but not heavy lifting ... huh?).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Todd, glad to hear everything turned out okay!
